Nearly 10,000 Eucalypts plugs were planted throughout England on Forestry England public-estate land in 2020, with another 5,000 planted as a Forest Research species trial plot at FC Alice Holt. Forestry England have shown a desire to be reflective of the opportunity that planting various Eucalypt species may offer to United Kingdom given future climate change considerations.
